Deliveries and returns

Do you ever split deliveries?

Yes, we have several warehouses, so you may receive a partial delivery. If this is the case, it will be shown on the delivery note, and there will be no additional cost for you, of course.

Deliveries and returns

  1. a) Deliveries: Our products are transported by certified carriers, , generally within 1 to 2 working days. All orders placed can be delivered anywhere in Switzerland or Liechtenstein.
  2. b) Partial deliveries: Oftamedic may make partial deliveries. In the unlikely event of a delay, the client is asked to grant Oftamedic a reasonable period of time to make the delivery. The client is entitled to claim for compensation for late delivery insofar as it may be proved that the delay was Oftamedic’s fault and the client can demonstrate that losses resulted from this. However such compensation may not exceed the loss that the defaulting party anticipated as a possible consequence of the delay when the order was confirmed. No compensation will be due if the client has received a replacement delivery.
  3. c) Reservation of ownership: Oftamedic remains owner of the goods until all of the client’s financial obligations (including the debit balances of current accounts) resulting from the business relationship, including future receivables, or resulting from simultaneous or subsequent orders, have been met. If the client fails to pay the amount due in full, after a reasonable additional period Oftamedic is entitled to terminate the contract and demand the return of goods for which ownership is reserved.
  4. d) Inspection of deliveries: The client should inspect the goods and write, in the driver’s presence, any specific, detailed and qualified reservations on the transporter’s delivery note, which should be duly dated and signed. Any reservations should be confirmed in writing no later than 3 working days after delivery.

 

                3 Returns

  1. a) Defective products can be returned to Oftamedic subject to prior agreement. Clients will receive products free from defects. Oftamedic does not accept items returned due to client order mistakes or storage problems. Refunds will only be given for goods delivered in error if the latter have remained intact and do not have any marks or stickers left on them after delivery.
